I’m Etienne Jacob, born in 1994 and based in Paris. I’m a software engineer, and in my free time, an artist creating GIF animations through programming. I also enjoy exploring other creative coding projects, including playful interactive installations.

About my art

Almost all of my animations are created with the constraint of keeping the GIF file size under 5 MB.

I like to think I make art that doesn’t need a story or process to be enjoyed, even if it’s built on algorithms and math I care about.

About my background

I graduated from Ecole des Ponts and the MVA Master, where I studied a blend of computer science, applied mathematics, and data science.
